Elham Mahmoudi, PhD is Assistant Professor of Health Economics at the U-M Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Mahmoudi has extensive experience in using variety of large secondary data (nationally representative survey data, public and private administrative claims data, and electronic health records), quantitative analysis, and econometric methodologies. She has expertise in examining racial/ethnic disparities in access to care and quality of care. Her research spectrum also extends to examining healthcare use and cost, and efficiency of care for older adults with cognitive decline and individuals with disabilities. She also works internationally with programs in China.
