Faculty profile


Dr. Fetters’ research focuses on the influence of culture on medical decision making, cancer communication, and health services research. His qualitative and mixed methods research interests focus on methodology, particularly integration and use of mixed methods research in cross-cultural studies. Dr. Fetters has led multiple funded mixed methods investigations, and provided many workshops around the globe. He serves as Director, Michigan Mixed Methods Program, which he co-founded with world renowned author and research methodologist John W. Creswell. He serves as Co-editor in Chief, Journal of Mixed Methods Research. His book, the Mixed Methods Research Workbook (2020) is published by Sage, Inc.
