Golfo K. Tzilos, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan, and a licensed clinical psychologist at the Ypsilanti Health Center. She received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Wayne State University, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Brown University Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies. Her primary research interests are in technology-delivered approaches for intervening with vulnerable populations, including women and emerging adults at risk for alcohol/drug use, HIV/STIs, and intimate partner violence. Her clinical interests include motivational interviewing approaches for prevention and treatment of substance use disorders.
