Faculty profile



Dr. Warber is an active Clinical Professor Emerita of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan (U-M) Medical School and a Core Faculty in the U-M National Clinical Scholars Program/Masters of Science Program where she teaches qualitative methods. She was recently appointed as an Honorary Professor with the European Centre for Environment and Human Health in the Medical School at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. She participates as teaching faculty and is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Michigan Mixed Methods Program.
 
In her research she uses qualitative methods, survey methods, and clinical trials to study the effects of nature experiences on wellbeing and the effects of various alternative therapies on health and healing. She has experience in using qualitative data to inform construction of new quantitative scales.
