Description:
-Work on your mixed methods proposal, research study, or manuscript -Improve your project with rigorous methodology in an active, participatory format -Refine and develop your project through group consultation with leading methodologists and feedback from peers. Some of the topics covered include: Defining your research question, conceptual frameworks, the core mixed methods designs, integration strategies, developing joint displays for the different designs, writing/publishing a mixed methods journal article, and strategies for validity in mixed methods research. |
Audience: This workshop is intended for researchers, faculty and students who are actively conducting, designing or reworking a mixed methods project. |

Dr. John Creswell, cofounder of the Mixed Methods Program, author of numerous works on mixed methods and a recognized leader in this methodological field. |
Eligibility requirement:
Have a fundamental understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
