MAXQDA Workshop




​Dates: Thursday, December 4 and Friday, December 5, 2025



LIVE on ZOOM (Eastern Daylight Time)
Description:

​

On Day 1, workshop faculty will introduce how qualitative software can be used and provide a detailed introduction to MAXQDA features. Participants will have time to practice using the software as features are demonstrated. Major topics will include: understanding the user interface, importing data, viewing and editing data, coding and managing codes, retrieving coded segments, working with memos, searching the database, and exporting coded segments and reports. 

On Day 2, there will be more hands-on work and continue with advanced features of MAXQDA. The faculty will also introduce mixed methods features, such as adding quantitative data, conducting a mixed methods analysis, building joint displays of integrated qualitative and quantitative results, and AI Tools.

This is a half-day

workshop held in the

afternoon over 2 days,

from 1:00 pm until 4:30

pm EDT.

You will need a MAXQDA trial license in order to practice using the software (will be provided to registrants). Participants can bring their own data or use a sample dataset (provided).
