Juniar is a qualitative/mixed methods research analyst in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan. She uses qualitative and mixed methods approaches to understand the lived experiences of adolescents and young adults in STEM education and healthcare services. Her formal research training is in condensed matter physics, but her passion for understanding the emotions and attitudes underlying human behavior has landed her on her current path. In her spare time, Juniar enjoys gardening, cooking, painting, and spending time with her family and friends.
