The Michael D. Fetters Scholarship Awards
Named for the late Director and co-founder of the Mixed Methods Program, Dr. Michael Fetters, the intent of this award (formerly the US Doctoral Scholarship) is to enable doctoral or master's students enrolled full-time in a U.S.-based graduate institution and from groups underrepresented in science to be trained in the latest advances in mixed methods research. Support covers the registration fee for one of the 2026 Mixed Methods Program online workshops. This award is made possible through the generosity of the Michael D. Fetters, M.D., M.P.H., M.A. and John W. Creswell, Ph.D. Mixed Methods Innovation Fund.
Note: Postdoctoral scholars are not eligible to apply for this award. Note that if you meet the criteria for the McCune scholarship but are enrolled at a US-based institution, we encourage you to consider applying for the McCune.
