Satoko is a Program Manager for the Mixed Methods Program (MMP). She has been providing overall program management for the MMP and its workshops since the program's inception in 2015. She has a background in sociology, anthropology and gender studies, and is interested in complementary and alternative medicine, impact of social, cultural and environmental factors on health and well-being. She has been involved in multiple cross-cultural health research projects using qualitative and mixed methods methodology. She is also a licensed massage therapist in the state of Michigan.
