Dr. Quinn is an Associate Professor of Community Engagement Research in the School of Social Work and is a Faculty Affiliate in the Center for Equitable Family and Community Well-being, the Treatment Innovation & Dissemination Research Group, and the Center for Global Health. Her mixed methods research interests focus on research design, integration, grant proposal development, and use of mixed methods research in community based participatory settings, as well as system involved populations. Dr. Quinn is leading a NIMHD R21 funded mixed methods study, as well as other funded mixed methods investigations. Her research focuses on the intersections of race, gender, crime and health and mental equity and the role of healing and other protective mechanisms of Black/African American girls and young women of color in the community and in corrections.
