As a Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Cancer Center Research Scholar Endowed Chair, Associate Professor, and Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES®), Dr. Charles R. Rogers is a behavioral scientist committed to developing innovative approaches focused on decreasing the pervasive health inequalities that plague underrepresented communities. As the inaugural Associate Director of Community Outreach & Engagement at the MCW Cancer Center and Founding Director of the Men’s Health Inequities Research lab, he has established a far- reaching research program on colorectal cancer awareness and prevention among African- American men and other socially vulnerable populations. Harmonizing ample experience in community-based participatory research, his research foci include cancer disparities, implementation science, mixed methods, injustices in men’s health, and survey methodology.
