Re-named in honor of the late Director and Co-Founder of the Mixed Methods Program, Dr. Michael Fetters, the intent of this award is to provide scholarship support for doctoral or master's students enrolled in a US graduate program who want to be trained in Mixed Methods and who identify as people from groups underrepresented in science. Our definition of underrepresented minorities (URM) in science includes those who identify as underrepresented by race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability, socioeconomic status, or who are first-generation college students. Our consideration of URM is also informed by the NIH Statement on Diversity. Support covers the registration fee for one of the Mixed Methods Program online workshops. This award is made possible through the generosity of the Michael D. Fetters, M.D., M.P.H., M.A. and John W. Creswell, Ph.D. Mixed Methods Innovation Fund. Note: This scholarship is open to non-US citizens. Anyone who is enrolled full-time in a doctoral or master's program at a U.S.-based institution is eligible to apply. |
