Faculty Profile
Dr. Tajima is Associate Professor, Faculty of Intercultural Studies, Gakushuin Women's College in Tokyo, Japan. She was a Senior Visiting Scholar in the Mixed Method Program at the University of Michigan in 2020-2021. Her research interests include intercultural /second language communication, evaluation of study abroad programs, and mixed methods research. She is one of the founding members of JSMMR (Japan Society for Mixed Methods Research), and a committee member of MMIRA MOOC (Mixed Methods International Research Association, Massive Open Online Courses). She is passionate about promoting the use of Mixed Methods Research in Japan, and will be translating and publishing the Mixed Methods Research Workbook (2020) by Dr. Fetters in Japanese (2021, forthcoming).​
