Faculty profile


Dr. Creamer is Professor Emerita from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and the 2018 U-M Mixed Methods Program Senior Visiting Scholar. Dr. Creamer has made great contributions to the development of the mixed methods field, such as advancing an innovative methodology that integrates grounded theory and mixed methods (MM-GT) for purposes of developing a theoretical framework that is particularly compatible with intervention and evaluation research. She is the author of the 2018 SAGE textbook, An Introduction to Fully Integrated Mixed Methods Research, that builds a framework for the integration of qualitative and quantitative data and analytical procedures across all phases of the research process. She is also the Past President of the Mixed Methods International Research Association (MMIRA).
