Engage intensively in your mixed methods research project through a program that is tailored to your specific needs!
The intent of this program is to attract visiting scholars to our Program and to especially meet the needs of women and individuals from underdeveloped countries. The scholar would be in residence working in the Mixed Methods Program for a short duration of time (2 months to a semester). The award will cover travel costs and provide a stipend to the scholar.
The scholar would have a strong mixed methods background and have a record of innovating in mixed methods. Preferably, this scholarship would be awarded to a female scholar.

1) A brief personal statement that includes:
a. Who you are and where you are from
b. Your interests and needs
c. Why you have come to mixed methods research
2) A brief plan for your work at Michigan that includes:
a. A mixed methods project you would like to engage in while at Michigan
b. Goals you hope to achieve at Michigan
c. How you plan to use the experiences gained at Michigan in your home institution
d. Who you would like to work with at Michigan
e. Your proposed length of visit and dates
3) One letter of recommendation that describes the value for you of being a McCune Scholar and how you will profit from the experience and follow-up with skills upon your return
4) A current CV or resume
