Faculty Profile
Meshari F. Alwashmi, PhD. is the Chief Scientific Officer at BreatheSuite. He is a Clinical Epidemiologist and a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University. Dr. Alwashmi is a guest editor of the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health and authored several articles about digital health research and development. He has extensive experience in the process of introducing new technologies to traditional medical practice while bringing a heavy patient focus to the development process. His digital health experience includes precision medicine, medical devices, wearables, and mobile health. His most recent empirical work uses mixed methods research to enhance the adoption of digital health.
