Faculty Profile
Dr. Tashane Haynes-Brown is a lecturer in Teacher Education and Teacher Development at the School of Education, The UWI. She currently serves as Coordinator for the Undergraduate Programs in the School of Education. She has over 17 years of combined work experience in the field of education at the secondary and tertiary levels. Her doctoral work focused on understanding how teachers’ beliefs shape their use of technology in the classroom. Dr Haynes-Brown served as President of the Mixed Methods International Research Association - Caribbean Chapter (MMIRA-CC) for 2020 – 2021 and she was a Visiting Scholar at the Michigan Mixed Methods Research and Scholarship Programme in 2017. She has published articles on Mixed Methods Research and on the Use of ICT in education.
