Editor-in-Chief of the AMMR (Annals of Mixed Methods Research), Dr. Kamei also serves as Professor of Gerontological Nursing, St. Luke’s International University, Tokyo, President of Japan Academy of Home Care, and St. Luke’s Society for Nursing Research, Bord member of Japan Society of Mixed Methods Research(JSMMR), Japan Academy of Gerontological Nursing, Japan Academy of Nursing Science, Japan Society of Intergenerational Studies, Japan Telemedicine and Telecare Association, and Japan Academy of End of Life Care. She is a member of SIGMA Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her mixed methods research interests focus on empirical study on how to implement mixed methods methodology to clinical practice, particularly on nursing practice.
Dr. Kamei participates multidisciplinary mixed methods research group in the Grant in Scientific Research of Japan with JSMMR bord member to develop mixed methods education program for the nursing graduate students.
