Zora Djuric, Ph.D.is a Research Professor in the Departments of Family Medicine and Nutritional Sciences, and she is a member of the Rogel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Djuric has extensive study section and grant review experience. She is active in the leadership of the American Society for Nutrition and the Obesity Society. Dr. Djuric’s research has involved the design and conduct of clinical dietary intervention trials and investigation of the mechanisms by which specific dietary patterns can prevent cancer. She is interested in applying novel lifestyle intervention methodologies to community and clinical settings. Her current qualitative research is focused in two areas: understanding factors that lead to successful clinical trial recruitment and evaluating the role of telephone coaching on adherence to a cancer-preventive dietary intervention.
