How this live, online format works:
What our online workshop participants have said:
- Listen to short lectures via Zoom and ask questions to presenters using the "Chat" function
- Work on your individual projects using provided worksheets after each lecture
- Attend group consultations with MMP faculty to receive feedback on your project and provide feedback to peers in Zoom "Breakout Rooms"
- Present the work you accomplished in the workshop in a virtual poster session
- All workshop materials will be available to you in a Canvas course site in case you miss any presentations due to timezone issues
What our online workshop participants have said:
I really enjoyed being able to learn from scholars and students outside the United States, and I don't think you can have the same breadth with an in-person workshop, especially with graduate students who might have to pay their own way. I would highly recommend this format to anyone interested in mixed methods research. It was easy to navigate, there was ample time to work through the workshop, and comfortability of having all my resources with me at home |
This is the first virtual workshop I have attended. Organization and communication was excellent. I knew what to expect and it was executed very well The lectures were EXCELLENT, and the worksheet applications immediately after the lectures made the workshop extremely practical |
