​​At the University of Michigan, we are building a think tank for mixed methods research. The Mixed Methods Program was co-founded by  leading mixed methodologists Dr. John W. Creswell and Dr. Michael D. Fetters in 2015, and is currently led by Dr. Melissa DeJonckheere, Dr. Justine Wu and Dr. Timothy C. Guetterman. We are a cross-disciplinary program bringing together scholars within and outside of the University of Michigan with national/international expertise in mixed methods.

Remembering Dr. Michael D. Fetters​

​We lost a great leader, mentor and beloved friend this week. ​We are deeply saddened to share the news that our immediate past UM-MMP Director, Dr. Michael D. Fetters passed away on July 16, 2023. We will miss his brilliance, creativity and big heart. And we will carry on his passion and vision for advancing mixed methods research and scholarship. Rest in peace, Dr. Fetters.
